Went here for lunch with a few acquaintances after we had hiked the Raven Cliff Falls trail. They had a good selection of food for lunch and the interior was small yet cozy. I decided to get a French Dip sandwich which the waitress said was a good choice and a Moscow Mule. My mule was good with Ginger beer being substituted for ginger ale which was nice as it was sweeter and not too strong. Some of the others also ordered sandwiches, chicken fingers and a salad which we all noted as being very generous in terms of portion size. As for my French Dip, it was as the waitress said! The meat was very tender with not a lot of fat and along with the sauce made it very savory. The fries were also cooked well being just right. Overall we were all satisfied with the food service and atmosphere.

We had a wonderful dinner experience here. The food was excellent with lots of variety. I had the burnt ends with turnip greens and my husband had the smoked prime rib that he said was the best he had ever had. Our server Rachel was great...very efficient and kind. The entire place was clean and had a fun vibe. We actually tried to go back on Sunday because we liked it so much but they were closed. We will definitely come back when we are passing through in the future.

Been here multiple times over the years and always impressed. The wedge salad is a combination of flavors that is simply delicious. The wings were cooked to perfection and were a whole wing!! Service is always friendly and attentive.

Spent a day in Cleveland waiting out the rain for a softball tournament and found Ol' Clyde's for dinner. Great food and great service. Burnt ends were on special that night. As a Kansas City native, I don't typically try burnt ends anywhere else because they usually don't stack up. But our drinks and appetizers had been tremendous so I rolled the dice. The burnt ends passed the test. Maybe a touch tough, but it was late in the day. Flavor and smokiness was perfect. My wife's prime rib wasn't quite medium rare like she ordered, but it was still delicious. We'll definitely go out of our way to go through Cleveland and Ol' Clyde's on our next trip through North Georgia.

I recently enjoyed a delightful lunch at Clyde’s Restaurant. Seated at the bar, we took the bartender’s recommendation and tried their fried avocados. It was a unique and delicious treat. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. I look forward to returning to this excellent establishment.

Great meal. Danielle was a great server. Good sweet tea. Carbon patio at a high top. Busy. Expect a 45 minute wait during peak.

I wasn't impressed with the chili (tasted like I was served from the dried up bottom of the pot) but the wings were BIG and super crispy! I think my husband had the breaded chicken and French fries. We shared a plate of avocado fries, it was our first time eating them, and we were both surprised how much we liked them. The atmosphere reminded us (fondly) of similar places we used to frequent in State College and in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Our server was super sweet, and even the manager came over and welcomed us. Overall, a very pleasant first time experience.

There aren’t all that many places to eat in Cleveland Georgia, but we definitely found a good one. Our extended family holiday weekend found us spending five nights in a nearby cabin, and it seems we were always in search of something to eat. We found Clyde’s on the 4th of July, and loved it so much that we came back a few days later. And judging by the steady crowds both times, I’d say that it is held in very high regard by locals. They have earned their high rating. On our second visit, my wife ordered the Buttermilk Chicken that was served blackened, with sides of green beans and collard greens. I went with the Beyond Burger and house salad. On the first visit, I had the same burger but with fries. We were delighted with our meals, the quality of food and service, the prices, and the depth and breadth of selections. Clyde’s also has a cozy little bar for those wishing to indulge. While the on-draft beer selected is limited, it is more than sufficient, with a nice mix of macro brews and craft beers. On the first visit I availed myself of one, but on the second visit, we abstained because we were headed off to the wineries for tastings. Were we staying any longer in the area, I am sure we would find ourselves here once more. We highly recommend Clyde’s for travelers, something that Cleveland has no shortage of given its proximity to the mountains and the AT. Two thumbs up.
